I have nothing against the wealthy except that they accumulate so much money that there is no way that they can spend it all in five generations.

Christianity says that the poor will always be with us; that is because the wealthy will also always be with us who hold onto their money as though it was a god that offers salvation.

Mind you, I am not disparaging one of the largest religions in the world, but it turns my stomach when I see mega-churches, such as the new one in downtown Dallas.  Although I would never call myself a theologian, I have read the Christian books, better known as the “New Testament” thoroughly in both the Greek and various versions of the books.  Version does NOT mean necessary TRANSLATION as a version simply means what the “translator” thinks a word or words mean. 

My favorite version, the one that comes closest to the Greek, is the NIV.  People who hang onto the KJV do so because they think it comes from the “Texus Receptus” but have no idea of what the term means.

According to Wikipedia: The series originated with the first printed Greek New Testament, published in 1516—a work undertaken in Basel by the Dutch Catholic scholar and humanist Desiderius Erasmus. Detractors criticize it for being based on only some six manuscripts, containing between them not quite the whole of the New Testament. The missing text was back-translated from theVulgate. Although based mainly on late manuscripts of the Byzantine text-type, Erasmus' edition differed markedly from the classic form of that text, and included some missing parts back translated from the Latin Vulgate.

Ergo, it ain’t the ORIGINAL, that was lost a long time ago because it was written on papyrus which degrades unless protected and handled properly which it wasn’t.

A massive surprise to many is that most of the New Testament was written by a man who never even met Jesus: Paul.  Paul was, among many things, a misogynist (hater of women) and a man who disliked the very law that Jesus said would never pass away. In other words, the law as spelled out in the Torah is still very much alive and well as is the rabbinical interpretations as written in the Talmud.

The biggest stumbling block for Paul was that after the majority of Jews tossed him out of their synagogues for preaching heresy, he went to the Gentiles who, understandably, did not want to be circumcised in order to become Jewish and take Jesus as their savior.  So Paul decided to ditch Judaism completely and started a BRAND NEW RELIGION.  Yes, Paul is the founder of Christianity, not Jesus.

Churches who handle churches do so because Paul, who knew the Jewish Scriptures (the Tanach) snatched a verse from Psalm 91:13, “You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
 you will trample the great lion and the serpent.”  

WHY did he quote from the Jewish Scriptures?  Because they were the only books available, the NT was not yet put down on papyrus.  The Jewish Scriptures were written on vellum, the skin of a clean animal, thus the veracity of the Masoretic text is unchanged over the thousands of years while the NT has been adulterated.

The Gospels were not written by their name sakes.  Jesus was murdered by the Romans for sedition when he was just 33 years old.  Yes, sedition was the reason the Romans killed him, the Sanhedrin could have cared less about him because there were several others who were doing the same thing that Jesus was.  The falsehood that the Sanhedrin met the night to demand Jesus’ death cannot be true because it was the first night of Passover and they would be in their homes sharing an entire lamb with other families.  The whole lamb had to be consumed in one night so it was necessary to have four or five other families at the Seder table.  That is what the “last supper” was.

Had his buds not insisted on calling him the King of the Jews, the Romans would have left him alone because he had done nothing wrong; almost every word he is purported to have said (where Jesus talks in red) were quotes directly from the Jewish Scriptures which he knew intimately, and/or the Talmud which was in the process of being written.  The Torah teaches us what God expects from the Jewish people. The Nevi’im (Prophets) and Ketuvim (the writings) together are collectively known as the Tanach.

Getting back to the reason that the authors of the Gospels were not written by the purported authors is that the first book was written about 70 some-odd years after Jesus was dead and buried. (Yes, I know the claims of Christianity that he rose and is still alive but for the sake of this essay, he is still dead.)  That being the fact would mean that Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John would have been about a century  old; few, if any, people lived to that ripe old age. 

As recording devices were not available back then, how is it possible for the people who did write the books know what Jesus had said?  They may have passed some of what he said verbally, but if you have ever played the game “telephone,” where one person tells the first person what someone said, and the next person tells the next and so on, what comes out in the end NEVER is what was originally said. So somewhere along the line, what Jesus said was lost in transmission.

Then we have the problem of Paul.  He never MET Jesus despite what he said about hearing him years later.  How in the name of intelligence could have had possibly known what who said what and when.  He also knew the Tanach intimately and the Talmud had been expanded by the time Paul was writing his books.  He GUESSED what was said.

Getting back to my initial comment about mega-churches, take a look in the parking garages of those churches. Do you see rusted old jalopies?  Or do you see nice new models, some of them costing $40,000 and up.  Mine was the only old vehicle when I passed by one of those buildings.  Methinks they all have edifice complexes!

As the cameras pan the audience, do you see any non-white faces?  If you do, they are definitely in the minority.  As the late pastor of the First Baptist Church in downtown Dallas once said, “They prefer to worship with their own kind. But we do have a couple in our choir.”  I once visited that church at the invitation of a friend. We were going to watch the Cowboys play later that day, so I went.  Then I left when that late preacher had tears coming down his cheeks when it talked about the Crusaders invading Jerusalem.

Did he bother to shed a tear over the enormous number of human beings the Crusaders slaughtered?  Nope. He just ignored the fact that the Crusaders were a bunch of murderers and thieves.  I met my friend outside the church and I explained why I had stormed out of the place.  It was disgusting for me to hear that disgusting display of misplaced honor.  (The Cowboys lost, too.)

Being Jewish, I attend a small synagogue.  The choir in that new church in Dallas has more members in it than my synagogue!  I am serious about that. They also have a small symphony class orchestra.  My problem with all of that is that is why the poor will always be with us: Those churches give to missionaries, not the poor!

The new First Baptist Church cost $130,000,000 and took five years to build.  The only good part is that it gave temporary employment to those who built the edifice.  That comes to $ 71,232.87 a DAY!

As a non-Christian, who respects Christianity and has more Christian friends than Jewish friends, I can’t help but wonder how many of the poor got so much as a sandwich from that church.

As a pre-post script, once my husband and I lost our jobs within two days of each other. Our son had breathing problems and the cost of helping him was WAY out of what we could afford.  A local church helped us with food and rent.  We will always remember their kindness even though they knew we were not Christians, they only knew that we were in trouble and reached out to help us. They weren’t trying to convert us; they just knew we were in trouble financially.  That is what I call practical religion.

Okay, folks, pick up the Christian bible of your choice. Look up the word “rapture.”  Keep looking until you go blind; you will never find it because it does not exist.  However, that does not keep a teacher in Amarillo from teaching it as a TRUTH because she doesn’t want her students to not know the truth.

Well...she’s teaching an all-out LIE!  She is what is known as a pre-millinealist. They believe that all Christians, and Christians only are going to be caught up into heaven for a thousand years when Jesus will come back and do what he should have done the first time around had he been the messiah.  At least that is their excuse for him not doing all that the messiah will do when he finally gets around to gettng here.

For the moment, let’s forget that there are over 21 major religions in the world and that there is no such animal as THE BIBLE.  NONE.  The various Christian versions cover a good chunk of the alphabet: KJV (verily, veriy!), NIV, RSV, NRSV, etc., etc.  There IS no such thing as THE Christian bible.

The intelligence impaired legislators who okayed hauling the “bible” into schools were all Christians, meaning that they broke federal law by pushing Christianity down the throats of gullible school children.

Not being a Christian, I am OUTRAGED that school children are being exposed to lies!  No Koran, no Torah, no Tenach (the combined Jewish scriptures) no holy books of any other religion than CHRISTIANITY and that violates the First Amendment.  Let me make that clear as possible:  THE STATE OF TEXAS IS CRUMBLING THE FIRST AMENDMENT INTO A SMALL BALL AND TOSSED IT INTO THE TRASH CAN AND THEN BURNED IT!

Christianity is not the only religion in the world...

Now is the time for all intelligent Texans to start to repeal that law...NOW.

Here's a four-letter word for you: NRA.  Want another?  Okay, GOP.  How about another?  FOX. Let me add one more: GUNS.  BTW, we own two semi-automatic pistols and I own a revolver, plus we own a shotgun.  

OUR president has made the single most courageous decision I can think of since President Truman made the decision to stop WWII by dropping atomic bombs on Japan.  He did not want to do it, but it was necessary to save millions of lives on both sides.

Mr. Obama, in making his executive decisions has just done exactly what President Truman did: He just saved tens of thousands of lives (hopefully).

To those micro-brained things who are screaming TYRANNY!  IMPEACHMENT! Neither word is in any way appropriate. Tyranny means what?

None of those apply to President Obama.  Keep in mind that the presidency is one part of a three-part government; he is not a dictator.  What he has just done is brave and right.  It has been a long time coming. Our Founders never envisioned military types of weapons.

What is required for impeachment?  High crimes and misdemeanors.

President Obama's administration has been the cleanest administration in my memories. So far, not ONE SINGLE criminal investigation or allegation has been made against his entire administration.  The vaunted Reagan administration was one of the dirtiest administrations in our Republic's history with nearly 150 criminal charges.

The ONLY, and I do mean ONLY decision made by the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) was either  in 2006 or 2008 when they ruled that the Second Amendment permits Americans to own a handgun for home protection.  PERIOD.

I beg all who read this to pray for the president's safety during this time of national dissent.  I support him totally and without an ounce of regret.

During 2012 I lost three friends to colon cancer. Dying of that kind of cancer is idiotic nowadays because a simple test can tell whether or not you've cancer or not.  It is called a colostomy but for some reason people, both men and women are hesitant to have the test performed.  My question is WHY?

The test is done while you are asleep.

You feel NOTHING!  In other words, it is totally painless.

There is some unpleasant pre-procedure “fun.” You must be on a semi-fast for a day, drinking nothing but clear liquids, the emphasis on the word clear. Even though not “clear” you can have coffee, tea, etc., but no milk.  I am writing this the day after I went through the procedure so I can recall everything about it.

At a certain time during the day you will take one small pill; it is smaller than an aspirin tablet.  Then you will begin drinking a fluid at a time specified by the doctor. It used to taste like something you’d gag on, today; however, it has a very pleasant taste and has the consistency of whole milk. Truth be told, it has a sweet, lemony flavor.

Then the “fun” begins.  Never, ever trust a (pardon me) a fart.  It will NOT be gas. Be certain that at least one bathroom is clear at all times because believe me, you are going to need it.

Now let me ask you, would you rather go through an hour or two of diarrhea or months of agony with death at the end?  To me, it was no choice: I do not care to die from colon cancer. The last friend I had who died from it was in so much pain at the end that there was nothing they could do for him except put him to sleep.  No, not like an animal, which, to me would be the kindest thing they could do, but they kept him in a twilight zone for the last few days of his “life.”

Have you ever had a stomach cramp? So have I and as a woman, I've had more than my share of cramping once a month.  But guys, how would you like to have someone kick you between the legs…all day long?  Well, that is what colon cancer was described to me by EACH of my friends who are now six feet under. The pain is constant, there is no relief. At one point, Morphine does not work! That is when they switch to Fentanyl which is 200 times more potent than Morphine. It is used as an anesthetic in an operating room and for other uses when pain is constant.

Ladies, how’d you like to have pain so bad that you’d yearn for the “good old days” of just having a period?  Yeah, colon cancer is that intense.

So I present you with a choice: Two hours of potty time (plus or minus) or months or even a year of dying from incurable colon cancer?  Give me two hours on the pot any day of the week.

Knowing that I am cancer free (I also had a mammogram recently) made everything worthwhile.

Here is what happened.

I was given a hospital gown to wear as a nice warm blanket was put over me, and then a very experienced registered nurse inserted an IV needle (less painful than accidentally pricking yourself with a pin) and saline fluid begins to flow.  Then a second nurse, this time a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) will tell you what she is going to give you to “relax you.”  Relax hell! She knocked me out with one of my favorite anesthetics because there is no “hangover” effect and with the exception of the time I was asleep, I remember everything.

You will either be asleep as I was or so out of it that you wouldn't care if they removed your head!  Seriously, there is no discomfort whatsoever.  All I recall is hearing my sister tell me to take deep breaths. She’s a retired nurse and knows the way to bring someone around after anesthesia.

You MUST have someone drive you home; you will not be able to drive yourself. Tell your employer that you will need the entire day off because when you get home, you will just want to lie down and go to sleep. A few hours might do it, but for crying out loud, do NOT try to drive until the next day.  You CAN be ticketed for DWU because you will still be driving under the influence of the anesthetic and that is NO excuse for driving. So if you are going to need something the day of the procedure, buy it the day before, okay?

Now if you happen to get, or have the “big C” there is a doctor in Houston who you should consider contacting.  The brutal truth is that THERE IS NO MONEY IN CURING CANCER, ONLY IN TREATING IT.

Oh, c’mon, Bev, you’re not telling me that doctors, whose job it is to cure people of disease are that greedy.  Like hell I’m not!

Oncologists (doctors who specialize in treating cancer) and the drug companies (Pharma) do not give a royal damn whether you live or die, only if you can pay, pay, and pay until you die.

GREED is their driving factor.  Not care, not giving a damn, but GREED, pure and simple is what got them into the medical field in the first place and playing the “I got more money out of my patient than you did” is the game they play.

Okay, so what makes me think that? Have you ever worked in a hospital? I have. I was the anesthesia secretary in a large teaching hospital in Texas to support myself while earning my doctorate in computer science.  As a mere “secretary” I was invisible, a mere object. So I heard the surgeons bragging how they left just a little bit of a tumor so it would return in a year and have the other doctor slap him on the back with a big smile on his face as he told of what he had done to screw one or two patients too.

Make no mistake about it: Cancer is BIG BUSINESS.  Spell that G R E E D !

Oncologists use the most toxic chemicals they can and the highest doses of radiation they can in order to assure that you are NOT going to survive. Because IF you live and are accidentally cured, they are not going to get paid any more!

There exist records of oncologists who have continued to bill Medicare or Medicaid for years after the corpse they created had long been buried.  The facts are available on the Internet, just look for ‘em.

Now back to the doctor I mentioned in Houston. The Texas Medical Board, the FDA and the United States of America itself attempted several times to stop Dr. Brzezinski ( www.burzynskiclinic.com/) in his tracks. Why?  Because he was a quack or that his treatments did not work or that his methods were unethical?  Nope. They even indicted him several times, took him to trial and was found to be innocent of any wrong doing. So why did they attack the man?   If you have Netflix, type in “ Brzezinski” and watch the movie. The blurb is: “This true story follows a biochemist who challenged the Food and Drug Administration for his right to begin clinical trials on a new cancer treatment.”

Now you might think that they persecuted this doctor years ago. Nope! The movie was done in 2010.  So what was everyone trying to steal from the doctor? Poison? Unethical practices? Just about any other reason you can think of?  Hell no!  They wanted to STEAL HIS PATENTS!

Now why would anyone want to steal a patent for something that CURED cancer?

Why did the automotive industry purchase every patent that had engines that could get over 100 miles per gallon? Well, if YOU were Exxon, Shell, Chevron, BP, and all of the other large oil companies, wouldn't YOU want to block an engine like that from getting manufactured?  Of course you would, but it would be rather unlawful for the OIL companies to block the manufacture and use of such engines, so the automobile industry bought the patents making the patent holder richer than Bill Gates, Paul Allen, and a few other billionaires blush.

Dr. Burzynski, however, wanted to CURE CANCER, not make a career out of treating and re-treating the same patients year after year. He had something that in the medical field has been gone for decades: ETHICS!

His patents were stolen bit by bit but they did not work, thus they tried to prove that Dr. Burzynski’s medicine did not work.  Of COURSE they didn't work.  They didn’t have the complete formula!  Jury after jury found Dr. Brzezinski innocent of all charges and our wonderful government wound up wasting $80,000,000 on persecuting this Polish-born physician whose only intention was to CURE CANCER without the established toxic drugs and radiation “cures” the quacks KNEW would not work.

Keep in mind that I overheard “doctors” bragging on how they had deliberately created more money for themselves by not taking out an entire tumor!!!!!!!

Also, keep in mind that “I” was working on a dissertation for my own doctorate at the time.  Very few people in the hospital knew that at the time.  When I would go to lunch chairmen of various medical services, administrators, the chaplain, and a few others who knew what I was doing, would sit with me, a “mere secretary.” When I was told I did not know my place, I showed them that no matter where I sat, the others would come and sit with me “because we were the hospital’s informal computer club” and I knew a lot about computers.  Eventually, I was fired for being so damned incompetent.  Of COURSE I was a lousy secretary…I am an engineer!  Once I received my Ph.D., I returned to the hospital to have lunch with some of my buddies and my former boss told me I had no business being there.

When I told her I was there to have lunch with Bob and Allen, she said, “You mean Dr. X and Dr. Y!”  I just laughed and said, “Yup, they’re going to have lunch with Dr. Kurtin. Did you really think I was a secretary with all of the changes I was making to the computer system?  And when one of the administrators said that your writing had gotten better since I came to work, didn't that raise your suspicions?”

BTW, the day she fired me was the day she asked me for the anesthesia report, I told her to just type the letter "a" and it would print out automatically, a change I'd made the night before.  Being so computerphoebic that she wouldn't EVER touch a computer, she had a typewriter on her desk!  When she told me to change the programming back and I refused, she told me to give her my badge.  I just laughed and handed it to her, grabbed my coffee thermos (it was the only hospital I've ever worked for that didn't have coffee in its break rooms), walked across the hall, changed out off my sterile scrubs and walked out, still laughing.

It wasn't until the day I let her know I had earned a Ph.D. in computer science that dawned on her why the other doctors treated me as a peer.

But the main reason I mention the above is because I was there and heard those greedy bastards talk every day.  All they were concerned about was how much money they could squeeze out of a patient before they drove them into bankruptcy, and then they could over-bill Medicare.

So, dear reader THAT is why I check for cancer.  If, heaven forbid, I ever get cancer, do I have to tell you that the first doctor I will visit will be Dr. Brzezinski?

Next week?  Who knows.  It all depends on whether or not our president stabs those of us on entitlements (which means that we EARNED those things we paid for) in the back or not. As so many others, I paid my FICA taxes for close to 50 years and am ENTITLED to get my monthly ENTITLEMENT checks and am ENTITLED to Medicare and pay over $1,200 a year for my part B coverage.  Entitlement has a meaning and "free loader" is not one of them.

People are angry about the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. The first reaction to their anger is “let’s get rid of guns.”

Let me WARN people that any government that is big enough to take away your guns is big enough to take away your freedom.

The problem is not guns.  The problem is not guns. The problem is not guns

Okay, got the message? The problem is not guns, it is our mental health system that the Supreme Court of The United States (SCOTUS) screwed up at some point in the past (I am unable to find out when they did the deed) by saying that people who are mentally ill cannot be forced to take their medicine or be forced against their will to be hospitalized for treatment.

Do you wonder why there are so many mentally ill people on the streets?  SCOTUS saw to that. It is their civil right.

While I am all for civil rights, when a severely mentally ill person enters an elementary school and kills a score of children and some adults after killing his mother IS IT OKAY TO HOSPITALIZE THEM THEN?  Well tough titty said the kitty but the milk is still good: the mentally ill person is DEAD!

What is it going to take for this country to get its excrement linearized to demand that our mentally ill people either take their medication or be forced to be hospitalized so that they will have no choice about getting the medication they require?

It is ABSURD that mentally ill people cannot be forced to do what is best for THEM!  A few years ago I had heat stroke and collapsed on a major cross street in my town.  The police asked me if I was okay. I did not know!  Why was I unable to know?  Because at that particular time I was INCOMPETENT to make a decision of any kind let alone know what time of day it was.  My brain was being cooked!  They offered to have an ambulance take me to the hospital; I refused because all I could think of at the moment was the cost of an ambulance ride, so I said no.

Fortunately for me, the police did realize that I could not make a decision and were kind enough to drive me home where my sister took charge and got me to the hospital STAT! 

By that time my kidneys had shut down, there was not enough moisture in my body to create urine!

To me, I was in the hospital a few minutes; however hospital records showed that I was there for over four hours while they rehydrated me.  They pumped over a full gallon of saline into me before my kidneys could function again. Even then, I still could not make cogent decisions for a day or two afterward.

EVERY SINGLE TIME THAT A TRAGEDY SUCH AS THE NEWTON HAPPENS, PEOPLE SAY “Gosh, we had no idea.”  Yes, they did, they just IGNORED the signs of mental illness.

Excuse me, that it pure unadulterated bull shit. 

Then there is the freaking media.  How many HOURS do they have to give to a tragedy?  This is being written on December 14, 2012, the same day as the television event of the month.  ALL DAY LONG WE HAVE HEARD NOTHING BUT WHAT A MENTALLY ILL PERSON DID.  ALL DAY LONG WE HAVE HEARD NOTHING BUT WE HAVE TO RESTRICT GUN SALES.

GUNS are not the problem, damn it, LACK OF MEANINGFUL MENTAL HEALTH IS THE PROBLEM.

Ladies and gentlemen, the United States of America has a new president, John Boehner. 

WHAT?

When did that happen?  You don’t remember?  Ah so…neither do I. For that matter, nobody else knows. But HE apparently thinks that he won the national election that occurred on November 6, 2012.

The facts counter his thinking: He is NOT the president, Barak Obama still is the president, Boehner is a pretender, in fact, he is opposed to the desires of the majority of the people of the United States.

Republicans (Pubs) have become so wrapped up in thinking that ONLY white Christian men are the ultimate voters that count in this country. Well, white Christian men are now in the minority.

Romney LOST and lost big.  President Obama won the popular vote by a margin of 55 to Romney’s 44 percent.  The Electoral College margin was over 100 for the president.  The Pubs still cannot understand how they lost.

Well, although I’m only a white woman who is considered “elderly” by people who still don’t get the fact that 70 is now the new middle age, I and millions of other women, minorities, and bunches of progressive thinking white men voted for the president and against a plutocrat whose ideas and his choice of a running mate scared the hell out of so many of us.

Why?  BECAUSE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS A GOVERNMENT, NOT A BUSINESS!

We do not purchase companies, milk them for all the profits we can squeeze out of them so we can “harvest” them later.  Translation: Shut down the American companies and ship the jobs overseas.

Hey, Pubs, WE, the PEOPLE are not as stupid as you thought we were.  Now, grab a parachute and get ready to go flying off the cliff.  Never mind the parachute, just go off the cliff and leave Americans alone.

Well…it seems that many Americans do not know a freaking thing about what is going on in the Middle East.  They do not know about the history of the region nor do they give a damn, all they want to do is listen to what they want to listen to and turn things so far around that if the people were dogs, they’d be licking their rear ends.

FACT #1: For over 3,500 years, Jerusalem has been the capitol of the Jewish people. Jerusalem is mentioned hundreds of times in the Jewish bible which is wrongly called the “Old Testament.”  Since God made an ETERNAL COVENANT with Abraham and his descendants and eternity is no over, there cannot be a “New Testament.”

FACT #2:  Jerusalem is not mentioned ONCE in the Koran. If you look for it, you will go blind trying to find it, it simply has never been mentioned.

FACT #3:  There has NEVER, in all the history of the world, been any Independent country in the land of Israel called Palestine.

FACT #4:  The sovereign nation of Judea existed for nearly two THOUSAND years before the Romans, you remember them, they killed Jesus for claiming that he was the king of Israel, a crime against the Roman government called sedition.  The Romans destroyed the entire nation of Judea and renamed the land Palestine after the ancient enemies of Judea, the Philistines.    

FACT #5:  Although the Romans had prohibited Jews from living in Jerusalem, after a few years, the city was once again populated with Jews and for about two thousand years, it has NEVER been, not even for a day, been empty of the Jewish people.

KEEP IN MIND AS YOU READ THIS THAT EVERY WORD OF THIS IS BASED ON HISTORY. IT IS NOT BASED ON OPINION. HISTORY CANNOT BE CHANGED.

Fact #6: The land called Palestine was essentially empty and a wasteland for centuries.  Read the descriptions of people who had visited the area.  Mark Twain’s visit is perhaps one of the most telling of all of the accounts.

Fact #7:  Jewish people began returning to the land as far back as 500 years ago. In the past two centuries, they PURCHASED LAND and settled on some of the worst land possible.  Through unimaginable toil, the Jewish Palestinians began to bring the land back to productivity.  No Arabs wanted the land because it was desert, nothing could grow on it.  It is a fact that the only time that the land has caused the desert to bloom is when Jews were on the land.  Again, that is a fact, not an opinion.

Fact #8:  Until the early years of the 20^th century, the Ottoman Empire controlled all of Palestine. NO COUNTRY CALLED PALESTINE EXISTED!  When the Ottoman Empire collapsed after the First World War, the British Empire through the Balfour Declaration said, “His Majesty's government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.”   The "Balfour Declaration" was later incorporated into the Sèvres peace treaty with Turkey and the Mandate for Palestine. Fact #9:  The League of Nations agreed with this and after its collapse, the United Nations mandated that TWO states be established in Palestine. One would be Arab, the other Jewish.  Israel accepted their state, the Arabs declined it and on the day after the State of Israel declared its independence, ALL of the surrounding Arab countries attacked Israel with the intention of destroying it and each and every Jew on the land.

Fact #10:  The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, one Haj Mohammed Effendi Amin el-Husseini, told his people to vacate the new State of Israel because it and the Jews would be destroyed in a few days and they could return to their homes after the war.  Meanwhile, the Jewish leaders begged the Arab population to stay where they were; most deserted their homes and lands, those who stayed became Israeli citizens, with the identical civil rights of any other Israeli.

Fact #11:  In the history of the world, all displaced people went into other countries and became citizens of those countries.  The ONLY EXCEPTION TO THIS FACT was the poor refugees who had given up their homes and lands by simply deserting them.  Although it is true that some Arabs were expelled unwillingly by the Israeli government, the vast majority left of their own free will and accord. That is history and cannot be refuted.

FACT #12:  Although fewer than 600,000 Arabs were left in a stateless situation, NEARLY ONE MILLION JEWS WERE EXPELLED from Arab countries.  In other words, more Jews were displaced than Arabs.  They were not given a choice of whether or not to stay, they were told to get out with nothing but the clothing on their backs.

SUMMARY ONE: The displaced Arabs were denied access to their neighbors who were also Muslim. Instead, they were put into “refugee camps” and left there as a permanent thorn in everyone’s side, Jews and Arabs alike. No other people have ever been given the status of generational refugees, only the Arabs did that to their own people.

What happened to the disposed Jews?  They were welcomed into the new State of Israel and became citizens on arrival.  Why did the Arab nations refuse their brothers and sisters the same rights?  That is a question that all right-thinking people must ask themselves.

FACT #13:  Despite the fact that there has never been any such a nation called “Palestine” and there has never been a people called the Palestinians, the State of Israel has bent over backwards to assist a Palestinian nation to begin: Every single time they have been offered their own state, they have said NO!

FACT #14:  The name Palestinian was given to a group of Arabs by the Egyptian Yassir Arafat, the founder of the Palestinian Liberation Organization.  Even a casual reading of history will show that Israel ARMED the PLO only to have them turned against Israel, the Arabs have consistently said NO to the state to which they are entitled.  WHY?  Because the Arabs claim that although the land that had been called Palestine had been divided into two different states, they demanded and still demand that Israel be destroyed.  They insist that the ENTIRE STATE OF ISRAEL BELONGS TO THE ARABS and that Israel is occupying their land!

FACT #15:  Let us return to The The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, one Haj Mohammed Effendi Amin el-Husseini.  He spent the majority of World War II in Berlin, Germany.  There he spent his time split between Adolph Hitler and Adolph Eichmann, the author and designer of the “Jewish Problem” solution.  Mass murder of six million Jews and five million other people was the result that Eichmann wanted and got.  The Nazi government murdered over eleven million people.  IN MY LIFETIME, forty-seven of my blood relatives were enslaved and then murdered in cold blood by the Nazis.  The Mufti learned the black art of genocide.  The organization that eventually adopted the name Hamas was TRAINED BY THE NAZI SS.  Their goal today is the total destruction of the State of Israel and the elimination WORLD WIDE of each and every Jew on the face of the planet.

In other words, dear reader, Hamas is dedicated to the genocide of the 13 million Jews who are still alive.

For the past two or three years, the Arabs have been lobbing rockets into Israel from the Gaza Strip, a part of the land that the Israeli government stupidly handed over to  what they thought was going to be a Palestinian leadership, instead the people voted for Hamas, today’s equivalent of the Nazi Party.

In recent weeks, the number of rockets has increased from a few dozen to over 600, raining down on southern Israel.  Now suppose that Canada decided to throw rockets into New York.  HOW MANY ROCKETS WOULD IT TAKE BEFORE THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT ATTACKED CANADA?

Would it take five?  Maybe two?  How about one?  The United States would never put up with 600, would they?  But Israel has been patient, and although the Associated Press has covered the relentless rocket attacks on innocent civilians, many  who have been killed or seriously wounded, NOT A WORD WAS MENTIONED UNTIL ISRAEL RETALIATED.

What is the Arab’s excuse?  NONE.  They just want to wipe out Israel and every Jew they can.  That is in their CHARTER, damn it!

For those of you who still think that Israel is the bully, think again.  Are Arab civilians being killed?  Sadly, yes.  Why?  The Arabs are a bunch of cowards who hide behind innocent men, women, and children.  They put rocket launchers INSIDE CIVILIAN’S APARTMENTS. 

The ONLY Army in the world that warns civilians to get away from harm’s way is the ISRAELI Army.  We Americans don’t do that.  No other army does that.  The Arabs not only do not do that but they attempt to force their civilians to stay put and THAT is why so many Arab civilians are killed; it is NOT what Israel wants.  If you believe that they do, then you are among the cursed of the world.

HUH?  God, when he made the covenant with Abraham said that “I will bless them that bless you and curse them that curse you.”

Be VERY careful who you decide to curse…be exceptionally careful.

Let’s face it, the vast majority of Muslims are a totally different kind of human being than the rest of us. It is bad enough that we have various protestant religions that are cock-sure that they have the truth, the whole truth and NOTHING but the truth; but they do not go on rampages, mindlessly murdering totally innocent people if someone knocks their religion or their object of worship.  In that, the Muslims are apart from the rest of the world. 

Please understand that I am not painting the entire Islamic world with a wide, wide brush. There exists intelligent Muslims, fair-minded Muslims.  Unfortunately, the broad mass of them are uneducated, unintelligent and just plain ignorant of how things are done in non-Muslim countries, especially in democratically run countries, such as the United States and, for that matter, the State of Israel.

The recent explosion of violence against American (and some non-American countries as well) were kicked off by a video some trouble maker posted on YouTube.  To the mindless mass of murderous Muslims, they have never heard of freedom of thought or freedom of expression.  The slavishly adhere to the writings of their “prophet” without realizing that there was no way that he could have written their holy books.  The guy was a polygamist pedophile!  And they get ticked off whenever anyone in the world says anything negative about him?  I’ve two words for them: Drop Dead.  On the other hand, LEARN about the rest of the world; you are not in the 14th century anymore.

Who in the hell do they think they are? God’s gift to the universe? They have zero compunction about destroying any other religion’s holy books, ZERO. They prohibit any non-Islamic religion from being in their countries.  Hell, they are not willing to let Israel exist because they think it is “Arab land.”

Many Muslims are just like the German people in WWII: They just follow orders.  Ask a western individual, "If Achmed blew himself up in a restaurant to kill unbelievers, would you blow up unbelievers, too?" I don't know about YOU, but my answer would be HELL NO! They have stated repeatedly, "We love death as much as you love life."  What kind of a human would do such a thing?

I'm an Air Force veteran. During Basic Training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas, a captain demanded admittance to my barracks. I refused his request.  "Airman, I am giving you a direct order from a superior officer."

Well, that order was unlawful. Here you have a barracks containing 65 sleeping women, and I'm about to let that jerk inside because he gave me an unlawful order? Hell no!  Instead of acceding to his demand, I pressed the little panic button that summoned the Air Police.  In the U.S. Military, following orders blindly is an offence on the part of the person giving the order.

Islam is being bastardized by those who love to light fuses and then stand by and watch the fireworks.  The uneducated fools are those fireworks. It is unforgivable what they are doing to the world and somehow they need to be stopped in their tracks.

How that is going to have to happen I've not the foggiest idea. I’m just one person without the slightest idea of the who, what, when, where and how the Arab world is going to have to be put down, but put down they need to be at one point in history or another…and this is the time.

I’ve not bothered to look up the video, have any of you?  It is beyond my imagination of why anyone with half a brain would have done that video, for that matter I don’t know why anyone would call a university the way they did on 9-11-12 with a bomb threat.  There are a bunch of sickos out there and I feel so helpless…

BREAKING NEWS: Apparently, the person who created the objectionable video has been found and caught.  Now we have another problem on our hands. By using Free Speech, the individual indirectly caused the deaths of four American diplomats.

Now what?  He was free to do what he did, but did he have the moral right, knowing aforehand what the results might be?  I’ll leave that up to the legal beagles to figure out.

Suggestion for discussion: What, if any punishment might be due to the producer of that video.

If he know what the reaction would be, can he be guilty of inciting a riot? Can he be held responsible for the murders?  Comments are more than welcome.

This is an eclectic kind of a blog…you’ll never know what is going to appear here and that is because, frankly, I've no idea of what I'm going to have on my mind from week-to-week.  Fair enough?

I have never made bones about being a progressive liberal Democrat.  However, there have been times when I vote for the person I believe is best suited to fill a given office.  There is no way that I'm going to apologize for who and what I am and I don't expect anyone else to do the same.

In making the decisions I make, I use something called CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS (CTS).  The Texas GOP has a plank in it (complete with splinters) that calls for prohibiting the teaching of critical thinking skills in any Texas public school.  EXCUSE THE HELL OUT OF ME!  I have tried my hardest to discover WHY they put that plank in there and all I have been able to come up with is zilch, nada, nothing, zip!

Exactly what does the term "critical thinking skills" mean?  I rather like Wikipedia's definition:

So what do the Pubs have against CTS?  Let's face it, politicians lie. That applies to all parties whether mainstream or off-the-wall kinds, politicians LIE.  Using CTS exposes those lies. Could the Republicans be afraid of people being able to determine for themselves whether or not a claim made by them is true or false or somewhere in between?

Yup. That is their problem with it.
